LITESTAR 10 is a suite of integrated program modules for the management of the lighting design process made up with the following modules:
- Litecalc – lighting design and calculation (based on the new and powerful method of Photon Mapping which replaces the old Radiosity one), rendering and ray-tracing modules as well as 2D and 3D DXF files interface for the interiors and the exteriors (public areas, sports areas) as well as roads and tunnels.
- Liswin – operative electronic catalog for luminaires and lamps
- Lisman – specifications management module
- Photowin – Photoview – photometry management module
- Lisdat – catalog data management module
- LisWeb – Liswin catalog viewer program in Internet
The program is available in 2 versions:
- LITESTAR Open, freeware (please refer to Download)
- LITESTAR Pro , the professional version you may activate after LITESTAR Open installation (License Purchase).
and in 21 languages: Brazilian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Semplified and Traditional), Croatian, Czech, English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Slovene, Spanish.
LITESTAR 10 is a program that can be totally configured following the needs:
- of the manufacturers with the closed and customizable configuration, limited to the single manufacturer’s data or shared with other manufacturers partecipating to the LITESTAR Project
- of the market with the open configuration it is possible to input new catalog and photometric data into the program database freely, the only one of its kind, integrating the already available Data Plug-ins of more than 150 manufacturers.
