The Goniophotometer T1 with device to turn the light source is a highly precise photometer for the measurement of light distributions of luminaires and lamps.

The Goniophotometer T1 allows measurements either in the C-Gamma measuring system, typical for indoor and street lighting luminaires, or in the V-H (B-ß) one, typical for floodlights: so any kind of luminaire and lamp can be considered. Some sophisticated software features allow to convert one measurement from one system to the other.

Characteristics
The Goniophotometer T1 is realized in accordance with EN 13.032 Norm type 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, correponding to Recommendation CIE n.70 Chapt.5 Type 1 and 2 (Goniophotometer with Facility for Turning the Light Source).

Maximum dimensions of the luminaires to be measured:
- weight: kg 20
- dimensions: mm 1600×300x200.

The Goniophotometer T2, with device to turn the light source, is a highly precise photometer for the measurement of light distributions of luminaires and lamps.

The Goniophotometer T2 allows measurements either in the C-Gamma measuring system, typical for indoor and street lighting luminaires, or in the V-H (B-ß) one, typical for floodlights: so any kind of luminaire and lamp can be considered. Some sophisticated software features allow to convert one measurement from one system to the other.

Characteristics
The Goniophotometer T2 is realized in accordance with EN 13.032 Norm type 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3, correponding to Recommendation CIE n.70 Chapt.5 Type 1 and 2 (Goniophotometer with Facility for Turning the Light Source).

Maximum dimensions of the luminaires to be measured:
- weight: kg 50
- dimensions: mm 2000×800x400.

The Goniophotometer T3 is a high precision and reliability photometer for measuring the distribution of luminous intensity of small scale lamps and luminaires, mainly LED ones.

Characteristics
The Goniophotometer T3 is realized in accordance with EN 13.032 Norm type 2.1, correponding to Recommendation CIE n.70 Chapt.6 Type 1 (Goniophotometer with Facility for Turning the Photometer Head).

Maximum dimensions of the luminaires and lamps to be measured:
- weight: kg 10
- dimensions: diameter mm 100, height mm 150.

The Mirror Goniophotometer T4 is a high precision and reliability photometer for measuring the distribution of luminous intensity of lamps and lighting fittings for interiors, floodlighting and roads.

The system is fully automatic and uses robot technology for effecting motion which allows the transmission of movement without chains, often the cause of undesired clearances. This characteristic makes it the first of its
kind worldwide.

The robot technology, along with high precision encoders and latest generation clearance-free reducers, guarantees perfect positioning with imperceptible vibrations.

The Goniophotometer T4 allows measurement according to systems:
- C-Gamma typical of interior and road luminaires (measurements according to CIE Recommendations 24 and 27)
- V-H (B-Beta) typical of floodlights (measurements according to CIE Recommendation 43)

Measurement is also possible on conical surfaces.

Characteristics
The Goniophotometer T4 is realized in accordance with EN
13.032 type 3.1, correponding to Recommendation CIE n.70 Chapt.7 (Mirror Goniophotometer).

Maximum dimensions of the luminaires to be measured:
- weight: kg 40
- dimensions: mm 2000×800x400.

Theory
A Mirror Goniophotometer T4 allows measurement of the luminaire in its normal functioning position that avoids lamps flux variations: this means that, for a luminaire for interiors, the luminous area is directed downwards and
remains in this position throughout measurement.

The only movements the luminaire makes are around its own vertical axis and the mirror.

The light emitted from the luminaire is reflected by a mirror placed in rotation around the horizontal rotation axis of the machine, the axis which corresponds to the luminous, or optical axis of the luminaire reflected by the mirror, that is to say the axis that passes through the photocell. The mirror
is inclined 45° with respect to the horizontal axis / optical axis.

The TracePro Bridge for SolidWorks is an Add-in …

Lambda Research Coporation release TracePro Bridge for SolidWorks 4.1.8, Free to subscribed users

The TracePro Bridge for SolidWorks is an Add-in tool designed to allow SolidWorks users access to TracePro property data. Thus, it permits the export of mechanical models complete with optical properties. This makes it possible to create a TracePro file within SolidWorks and to maintain the design intent contained in the model. Designers can export to TracePro SolidWorks-made models ready for ray trace and optical analysis.

It provides easy exchangeability for both TracePro users who produce mechanical designs in SolidWorks as well as SolidWorks users that need to make optical models to be analyzed in TracePro. The TracePro Bridge for SolidWorks seamlessly incorporates optical property assignment and model navigation features from TracePro into the SolidWorks environment.

This feature allows mechanical and optical designers to produce fully integrated optical, mechanical and lighting designs and analyse the illumination.
