Optical Components

We work closly with our supplier Precision Optic Gera (POG) GmbH in Germany to deliver high quality standard optical components such as:

Spherical optics

single lenses made of silicate glass and fused silica (made to clients´specifications)
laser mirror substrates and other spherical concave mirrors
spherical optical parts made of IR and UV materials (e.g. Ge, Si, ZnS, ZnSe, chalcogenide glasses, CaF2, MgF etc.)

- diameter: 3-300mm

- radii: according to DIN 58166 table of radii for optical components and Zeiss Norm ZN 34-1107 (other radii are possible but can cause extended delivery times and higher tooling cost due to the unavailabilty of test glasses)

- achievable specifications according to DIN ISO 10110 depend on geometrical specifications and material type

Plano Optics

plano parallel plates, windows (material and technical parameters to clients´ specifications)
mirror substrates, coloured glass filters, optical wedges
deflecting prisms (45°, 0°, 180°, 90°/90°, etc.)

Microstructures

We work in partnership with POG Präzisionsoptik Gera GmbH who have the expertise and the technical facilities to carry out the whole development and production process in house including:

layout design according to your specifications,
production of photomasks,
all photolithographic procedures,
metallic coatings and broad-band-AR-coatings,
machining of glass and ceramic substrates and
cementing and assembling.

This allows us to produce single pieces and small batches as well as high serial quantities at a constant high quality.
